Shūbizz for HIPHOP DANCE EXPO 2010
HIPHOP DANCE EXPO 2010 – Year two!
PHILIPPINE HIPHOP FEDERATION HISTORY:
In 2004, Hiphop International USA invited the Philippines to join the World Hiphop Championships held annually in the Los Angeles California USA.
Through the auspices of the Philippine International Competitive Aerobics Federation (PICAF), an audition was held to choose and form the Philippine’s very first national hiphop team.
This team of hiphoppers competed in the 2004 World Hiphop Championships and placed 15th in the international rankings.
In 2005, Philippines moved up to the 6th place.
And finally in 2006, the 1st place gold medals were proudly worn by the Philippine national team – Philippine AllStars.
In 2007, the Hiphop Federation of the Philippines was formed to specifically handle all official hiphop dance related undertakings.
Now on its third year, the HFP hopes to reach more Pinoy youth with its community outreach projects, providing them with a better alternative to living it out rather than youthful whims & senseless activities that put these young people in potential hazards of gang & drug related mishaps.
